The WCCI 13th World Conference (2nd Biennial World Conference) will be held from September 2 to September 6 at the Maritim Pine Beach Resort in Antalya, Turkey. The theme of the conference is "Creating a Global Culture of Peace: Strategies for Curriculum Development and Implementation." This is a response to the UN resolution to renew our commitment to promote a just and peaceful culture across the global community. This theme is particularly pertinent as the decade 2001 -2010 has been declared the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence by UNESCO.

As a tradition of WCCI, this World Conference aims to bring together professionals through dialogues as well as presentations to demonstrate our commitment to respect human rights; practice non-violence, tolerance and conflict reconciliation; promote gender equality; and communicate information and knowledge by providing education for all.

Professionals of all levels of education, from early childhood education through adult education to higher education, and all community and social justice advocates are invited to participate in the conference.
